Vince spent most of his life in the fine state of Wisconsin before making his way west with Americorps. He worked with the Mount Adams Center and Forest Service in Trout Lake, WA, doing environmental restoration during his first two summers in the Pacific Northwest. After traveling to Italy, China, and Thailand, he decided to call the Columbia River Gorge his home.
He found it the perfect place to be able to fish pristine rivers, chase powder days on the mountains, hike year round, and go see lots of really good music. The Gorge is also host to a plethora of really good food. With nearly a decade working at an Italian restaurant, Tomasos, under his belt, Vince was eager to explore the culinary world in the PNW. He’s spent time at Cascadia Creamery and at Pfriem, but keeps coming back to Wet Planet each season with new experiences that he’s eager to incorporate into the Wet Planet Cafe and Grill.
Vince has a secret passion for all things cheese and the Green Bay Packers. He is also thoroughly amused by the chickens who live on his farm.
Vince is the head chef at the Wet Planet café and grill, and is thrilled to be combining his expertise with the flavors of the Gorge, making Wet Planet’s culinary offerings better than ever.
