Growing up in Baltimore, Maryland, it wasn’t until Erin left the city for college that she began to foster her love for all things outdoors. At the University of South Carolina, where she went backpacking, rock climbing, caving, and whitewater rafting for the first time, Erin realized her passion and enthusiasm for living and playing in our beautiful, natural world!
Erin continued backpacking, rock climbing, and whitewater canoeing with the National Outdoor Leadership School. Following NOLS, Erin made the move to the west coast, where she finished her Outdoor Adventure Tourism degree at Humboldt State University in California.
Erin celebrated graduation with a rock climbing tour through Southeast Asia. Following that, she moved to the White Salmon area to join the Wet Planet reservations team (she’s often that friendly, helpful voice on the phone!) and explore the Pacific Northwest’s rivers, mountains, and crags.
Most recently, Erin spent her first winter chasing the endless summer of whitewater with a trip to Ecuador. She challenged herself kayaking the many incredible rivers, became more comfortable speaking Spanish, and backpacked along the ancient Incan Royal Road.
In her free time, Erin loves doing yoga, kayaking, rock climbing, gardening, and discovering the tastiest food that the Gorge has to offer.
