Experience the Adventure of River Rafting on the Wild and Scenic Rivers of the Pacific Northwest

Are you interested in a unique and exciting twist to your vacation or weekend? Do you ever feel like escaping the city’s heat on a hot summer afternoon? A river rafting trip with Wet Planet is the perfect mix of adrenaline, scenery, and camaraderie in a magnificent wilderness setting.

The Columbia River Gorge in Oregon and Washington is home to some of the country’s most beautiful and exciting river rafting trips, as numerous tributaries flow out of the Cascades, carving their way through stunning basalt canyons. Whether you are on a family outing, part of a corporate group taking a break from the boardroom, or an experienced rafter looking for the next challenge, one of our river rafting trips will be a perfect fit. Wet Planet takes advantage of the crystal clear water flowing from the glaciers on Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood and the stunning scenery of the Pacific Northwest to offer whitewater river rafting trips for all skill levels of rafters in the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon and Washington. From the remote wilderness stretches of the Class III Klickitat River and Tieton River, to the classic glacier waters and basalt canyons of the Class III-IV White Salmon River, to the challenges of Class V whitewater rapids on the Wind River and Hood River, we have designed a variety of trips that are certain to exceed the expectations of any whitewater rafter looking for great river rafting in Oregon, Washington, or Idaho.

Oregon and Washington River Rafting with Wet Planet

With Wet Planet, from the time you arrive at our riverside headquarters in Washington (just 1 hour and 15 minutes from Portland, OR) to the time you leave, our team ensures that your experience on and off the river exceeds your expectations. Once you arrive at Wet Planet, we take care of everything you need for the trip. We provide gear, guides, instruction, a shuttle to and from the river, and photos of your trip. We’ve got you covered!

After you’ve checked in, you’ll have time to grab a quick coffee at the Wet Planet espresso bar before meeting your guides for the trip. Your guides will help you prepare for the trip, taking time to help outfit you with all of the rafting gear you’ll need. The trip’s cost includes everything you need for the river: a Personal Flotation Device (PFD), helmet, paddle, wetsuit, paddle jacket, fleece jacket (if needed), and booties for your feet. Next, it’s time to travel a very short distance to the river in a Wet Planet shuttle vehicle. At the river, your guides will cover a detailed trip orientation discussing river rafting basics, such as how to sit in the raft and paddle. Then, the rafting trip begins! By the first rapid, you’ll feel like a pro as everyone paddles in sync under your guide’s directions to ensure a spectacular day of whitewater and excitement! Our trips end at our riverside headquarters, where you’ll have ample opportunity to relive the day’s thrills through pictures and stories.

A Smashing Success!

“The rafting activity was a ‘smashing’ success. Staff are still raving about how much fun they had, and that they would do it again. In fact, several who did not participate were so caught up in the excitement, that they have decided to participate next time. You and your staff have been an absolute pleasure and delight to work with. And we will be using you again. Again, thank you so much for a wonderful experience for all the rafters.”
