ABOUT ME

Wet Planet Rafting Decal

A true Southern river rat at heart, Chloe found her way to whitewater as soon as she could. Growing up exploring the forests of the Southeast, she discovered her lifelong love for rivers right out of high school on the National Wild and Scenic Chattooga River in Long Creek, South Carolina. What began as summer days chasing rapids quickly turned into a deep passion for guiding, teaching, and river stewardship.

While studying at the University of South Carolina, Chloe served as president of a student-run Mountaineering and Whitewater organization, leading trips that blended challenge, camaraderie, and backpacking exploration. She has spent the past five years boating and guiding Class III–V rivers across the Southeast, always chasing the next line and slaying dragons on steep creeks and long wilderness runs. Her passion for teaching and the outdoors led her to the French Broad River Academy in Asheville, North Carolina, where she empowers the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts to follow their dreams. When she’s not teaching 6th grade math, she’s leading students on whitewater canoe, ski, and trail-building adventures.

At Wet Planet, Chloe brings that same enthusiasm to the White Salmon River, where you’ll find her guiding rafts and teaching new kayakers. Whether she’s in a kayak, at the oars, or pointing out a cool rock formation, Chloe shares boundless stoke, positivity, and a deep love for wild waters. She’s excited to work and learn alongside a team of passionate river professionals while helping guests build confidence, find joy on the river, and connect with these incredible places.
