ABOUT ME
In 2015, Alex jumped into his whitewater career in Upstate New York, where he grew up learning to kayak. As a certified EMT and SRT, he has been professionally kayaking and guiding in New York, Idaho, Colorado, Montana, Oregon, California, and now Washington.
Alex rafts year-round and guides in the southern region of Chile on the big waters of the Rio Futaleufu during the winter months. When not on the water he enjoys creative woodworking projects, volunteering for animal shelters, drinking coffee, and finding matching outfits for him and his dog.
