The White Salmon River
Difficulty: III-IV | April – September | Half-Day & Full-Day Trips
The White Salmon is great for beginners and advanced rafters alike. Previously a lava tube, the White Salmon River runs through carved-out basalt canyons before finally opening into a sunny, forested valley. During the second half of the season, we move to our own private put-in 2 miles upstream from the commonly used public put-in to get even more secluded beauty and adventure into your experience.
The Klickitat River
Difficulty: III | April – May | Full-Day Trips
The Klickitat River, tucked deep into the Washington wilderness, features twisted lava formations, basalt cliffs, and a steep canyon topped with non-stop Class II and II rapids, making for a fun and beautiful river trip. The Klickitat whitewater rafting trip is also one of the longest trips in this area of Washington state.
The Wind River
Difficulty: IV – V (previous experience required) | April – May | Full-Day Trips
The Wind River is the adventure of a lifetime! It carves through beautiful canyons and boulder gardens, providing continuous and exhilarating Class IV and V rapids. Participants must have previous whitewater experience. We meet at Wet Planet’s headquarters in White Salmon, Washington, for Wind River trips.
The Tieton River
Difficulty: III+ | September Only | Half-Day Trips
Scheduled dam releases every September mean the Tieton never disappoints. Additionally, the water released from the dam is warm, which is excellent as the temperatures start to drop in September. Class III+ rollercoaster rapids provide the ultimate way to enjoy the best of Washington whitewater rafting. Our private meeting point for Tieton River trips is at our basecamp near Yakima, Washington.
