Nia Burtchaell Norman

My name is Nia Burtchaell Norman! I’ve lived in the Gorge my whole life, and develop a greater love for it every day! I’m an outdoor enthusiast, and between kayaking, skiing, mountain biking, and hiking, I keep myself pretty busy. I first got introduced to kayaking when I was four, on the Klickitat River, where I would eventually progress into a hard-shell kayak. While I enjoyed the water, all the rattlesnakes threw me off, and it wasn’t until I began kayaking on the White Salmon that I got hooked.
