After her first rafting trip on the Skykomish River, Jaime immediately realized her love for whitewater. While attending Central Washington University, she took a whitewater kayaking course, leading her to enroll in raft guide training that same spring. Jaime first guided on the Wenatchee River in Leavenworth, Washington, followed by the Tieton, Skagit, and White Salmon rivers as well. This journey has led Jaime to the Columbia River Gorge, where she has fallen in love with the river, area, and community. Now a part of the Wet Planet team, Jaime can enjoy being on her favorite river, the White Salmon, all season!
Jaime graduated from CWU with a degree in music education and is excited to teach general music and beginning band at Fall City Elementary, outside of Seattle. Jaime is also a certified rock climbing instructor, and when not pursuing her passions of music and whitewater, she enjoys any adventure that gets her in the outdoors.
Jaime currently guides on both the White Salmon and Tieton rivers. She is an important part of Wet Planet’s team, providing friendliness, high quality service, and river enthusiasm while taking guests downstream!
